Code: SC/20/0122 EU Settlement Scheme and the Rights of EU Nationals

4 places remaining

Information session on the EU Settlement Scheme and the rights of EU nationals in care, including looked after children, care leavers, and young offenders.
EU citizens in the UK must now regulate their immigration status due to the UK leaving the EU. They need to apply to the EU Settlement Scheme (settled and pre-settled status) or they may lose access to essential benefits and services.
Although the application is relatively straightforward, vulnerable residents are at risk of not applying by the deadline as they may struggle with technology, have language barriers, or lack of awareness. The training will explain how you can help your service users to retain their rights by applying to the EU Settlement Scheme (EUSS).
