Code: ASC 20/152 Dignity workshop

Being treated with dignity and respect is vital for our wellbeing as it makes us feel valued and worthy. The National Dignity Council believes that 'Dignity is Everybody’s Business' and as such we have the power to affect change on both an individual and an organisational basis to ensure that everyone is treated in a dignified and respectful manner. The dignity campaign's core values are about having dignity in our hearts minds and actions, changing the culture of care services and placing a greater emphasis on improving the quality of care and the experience of citizens using services including NHS hospitals, community services, care homes and home support services.

Code: SCB 19/221 Mental Health First Aid - working with young people (2 day course)

Youth Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) courses are for everyone who works with, lives with or supports young people aged 8-18. They will teach you the skills and confidence to spot the signs of mental health issues in a young person, offer first aid and guide them towards the support they need. In doing so, you can speed up a young person’s recovery and stop a mental health issue from getting worse. This course won't teach you to be a therapist, but will teach you to listen, reassure and respond, even in a crisis - and even potentially stop a crisis from happening
